    Banks are usually open from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, with additional hours from 2.30 to 4 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays from 8 to 11.30 a.m.
    Shops are open from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.
    Museums are opened all day, but they close on pubilc holidays.
    Bars and cafés are usually open from 9 a.m. to about 1 a.m.

    Climate:
    The hottest season is from mid-July to mid-September, when the average maximum temperatures climb higher than 30°C (80°F).
    Winters are not at all unpleasant, with an average of six hours of sunshine daily in January, and daytime temperature around 15°C.
    Tha total rainfall is low, at around 580mm, and it falls mainly between October and February.
